South Lake Tahoe, California
A refined retreat on 1800 High Meadows Trail, offering distinguished lodging for travelers who seek both adventure and repose.
Our Story
Nestled along a quiet stretch of High Meadow Trail, our property has been a sanctuary for discerning travelers since its founding. The Sierra foothills here hold a particular kind of stillness — one that guests carry with them long after checkout.
We believe a stay should feel like coming home to somewhere extraordinary. Each room is appointed with natural materials — reclaimed timber, hand-finished stone, linen textiles in earth tones drawn from the surrounding landscape. There is no rush here. The rhythm follows the sun, the seasons, and the quiet language of the pines.
Whether you arrive for a winter escape, a summer hiking retreat, or a quiet weekend of reflection, 1800 High Meadows Trail offers a setting that rewards slowness and rewards presence.
Accommodations
Each suite is designed to frame the surrounding wilderness — with floor-to-ceiling windows, hand-selected furnishings, and the kind of quiet luxury that comes from listening to what the mountain already offers.
A spacious one-bedroom suite with a vaulted timber ceiling, gas fireplace, and a private deck overlooking the meadow. King bed, full bath with rain shower.
A refined double room with a curated view of the lake through the tree line. Queen bed, en-suite bath, sitting area with reading nook.
Our signature two-bedroom lodge — ideal for families or small groups. Full kitchen, living room with stone hearth, two baths, and a wraparound deck.

Location
1800 High Meadows Trail sits between the alpine grandeur of Lake Tahoe and the ancient forests of the Tahoe National Forest — close enough to town for dinner, far enough to hear nothing but wind in the pines.
Guest Experiences
We came for a long weekend and found ourselves reluctant to leave. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was a highlight, and the silence at night — truly nothing but wind and birds. A place that feels rare.
The Pine Ridge Suite exceeded every expectation. Waking up to mountain light through those windows, with the fireplace crackling — it was the kind of stillness that resets your entire week.
We brought our dog and felt completely welcome. The trails nearby are spectacular, and the evening wine hour gave us a chance to meet other guests in a relaxed setting. Truly special.
